Here’s another gem back from the ‘intelligent techno’ days during the peak of Midwest raving and deeeep AAC chill outs. I think this was made during a particularly bitter winter so it has quite a cold, dark overtone to it. On this mix are some all time favorites like LFO’s ‘Mentok 1’, Carl Craig’s ‘Galaxy’ and Trak 1’s ‘For This’ (to which Mr. Farina turned me on). So if you want to get in the mood for this month’s archive dig, take a bite of a Xanax, get comfy on the couch, and pop in that VHS copy of Beyond The Mind’s Eye. Enjoy!
